Teva introduces pre-filled adenosine syringe
IRVINE, Calif. Teva Health Systems has introduced its adenosine injection, USP in a pre-filled syringe, the company announced Wednesday.
Teva’s adenosine is AP rated to Astellas Pharma’s Adenocard IV Injection and is available in 2 ml and 3 mg per ml pre-filled syringes. Teva already markets 3 mg per ml and 2 ml and 4 ml single-dose vials of adenosine. Adenosine is designed to treat paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, a heart condition.
