Purell debuts foam hand sanitizers
Purell is adding to its line of innovative solutions for consumers.
The Akron, Ohio-based company is introducing the Advanced Hand Sanitizer Naturals Foam and Advanced Hand Sanitizer 2in1 Moisturizing Foam products.

Featuring a formula that has been designed to kill 99.99% of most common germs that may cause illnesses while being gentle on the skin, the foam hand sanitizers also help maintain skin health, the company said.
“After 75 years of developing hand hygiene products, we know that formulation is vital when it comes to alcohol-based hand sanitizer — and I think consumers have realized, and experienced, that more than ever over the past two years,” said Dawn Yeomans, Purell hand hygiene expert. “While the percentage of alcohol is very important, the entire formulation is what impacts its performance and the user experience — and if both of these elements aren't there, consumers won’t want to use the product. We formulated these foam hand sanitizers specifically for consumers, so they can have peace of mind that they kill the germs that can make them sick, while also enjoying the feel, smell, and ease of use.”

The Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer Naturals Foam products have a USDA Certified Biobased Formulation that contains naturally renewable plant-based ethanol. It comes in a recyclable 10-oz. pump that can be found at Walmart, Target and CVS Pharmacy.
On the other hand, the Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer 2in1 Moisturizing Foam was designed to help rejuvenate the skin and eliminate germs with a blend of ingredients that includes antioxidants and vitamins B3 and E. In addition, it also kills 99.99% of germs and aids in improving skin condition with repeated use. Available in a recyclable 10-oz. pump, the sanitizer can be found at Walmart, Target.com and CVS Pharmacy.

Gel versions of the 2in1 Moisturizing and Naturals formulas are also available, the company said.
