Real Good Foods, Beyond Meat partner on plant-based sausage pizza

Real Good Foods is putting a plant-based twist on meat sausage pizza.

The Cherry Hill, N.J.-based company, which creates foods that are high in protein and low in carbohydrates, is partnering with Beyond Meat to launch this new frozen option.

Beyond Meat Pizza is a grain-free and high-protein pizza that contains Beyond Meat sausage and has been designed to also be low in carbohydrates, the company said.

“We are proud to further our partnership with Kroger by launching an innovative, nutrient-dense pizza made with Beyond Meat’s plant-based sausage,” Bryan Freeman, the executive chairman of Real Good Foods said. “Our development process was guided by feedback from our community, who is seeking more plant-based or vegetarian options, and we could not be more excited to partner with the category leader in plant-based proteins.”
