Reese’s Cups go organic
Just after announcing plans to expand its better-for-you confections, Hershey is showing off one of its latest initiatives in the category.
New from the company are the Organic Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
Available in dark and milk chocolate, the launch is certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified and Rainforest Alliance Certified, the Hershey, Pa.-based company said.
“We’re continuing to expand our product line so there is a Reese’s cup for nearly everyone,” Eric Newton, the brand manager for Reese’s Organic said. “When consumers go down the candy aisle or shop online, we want everyone to have an option to choose from, and we aren’t settling until everyone can enjoy a Reese’s product.”
Currently, Organic Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups come in a 1.4-oz. pack that retails for $1.99 and can be found at retail locations nationwide.
