Reese’s gets salty with pretzels

Salty and sweet.

Oh that’s right, Reese’s is adding an extra dose of salt to its peanut butter cups.

New to the Hershey, Pa.-based brand’s offerings are Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels.

Packed with salty pretzels, this new take on the classic cup also is larger in size, the company said.

“Let’s face it, we're all feeling a little bit salty this year,” Ian Norton, senior director of the Reese’s brand said. “In true Reese’s fashion, we channeled our feelings into sweet and salty deliciousness with new Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels.”

Available in a 1.3-oz. standard size/single cup that will retail for $1.49, and a 2.60-oz. king size for $2.09, Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels will hit shelves in November.
