DSNTV: NACDS chairman Lane discusses the organization’s role in the industry
At the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Annual Meeting, Drug Store News sat down with Chris Lane, the organizations freshly appointed chairman and executive vice president at Wakefern Food.
In his discussion with DSN, Lane touched on the role NACDS wants to play in helping shape policy and serve as a resource around such issues as DIR fee reform, reimbursement issues, opioid abuse prevention and the scope of pharmacy practices — all while ensuring there’s a focus on the whole store.
“My vision very simply is to make sure NACDS is focused on those critically important issues we have today,” Lane said.
