Rite Aid joins NationsBenefits’ network
Rite Aid has joined NationsBenefits’ network of retail partners. Through this partnership, NationsBenefits' health plan client members can now use their Benefits Mastercard Prepaid Card at over 1,300 Rite Aid locations, gaining access to a wide range of eligible over-the-counter health and wellness essentials to support healthier choices in their local communities.
By leveraging NationsBenefits’ Basket Analyzer Service technology, the integration with Rite Aid allows for seamless point-of-sale transactions and real-time adjudication of eligible items, making it easier than ever for members to access the products they need.
Social determinants of health, such as access to nutritious food, healthcare products and medication, are among the key factors that influence overall health outcomes. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, SDoH can account for up to 80% of an individual’s health outcomes—and is a strong focal point for health plans aiming to improve and positively impact member outcomes, NationBenefits said.
