Schmidt’s is bringing plant-based products to new heights.

The Englewood Cliffs, N.J.-based company debuted its entry into the home care category, which builds upon its roots in DIY culture and contains essential oils.

"What sets Schmidt's apart from other natural brands is our mission to enable small, yet effective changes our customers can make in their daily lives towards wellness, through plant-powered products that really work and are vegan and cruelty-free," Ryu Yokoi, the CEO of Schmidt's said. "We see a world of opportunity because people are realizing home care can be self care, and are thrilled to continue our longstanding commitment to providing customers products that are good for them and their families with the introduction of Schmidt's home care."

Featuring a Cleaning Vinegar Multi-Surface Spray that cleans and refreshes households with vinegar and it's signature essential oils, the spray also provides an aromatic cleaning experience that removes dirt and grease without the use of artificial colors, dyes or fragrances, the company said.

In addition, the spray is free of bleach and MIT/BIT, just as the newly launched Concentrated Laundry Detergent, which helps lift stains and protect colors. Its concentrated formula allows for up to 66 loads of laundry per bottle and can be used on delicates.

Both launches also are vegan and cruelty-free and can be found at Whole Foods.
