Customers who use the Schnucks Rewards app may notice new service additions to the platform.
The retailer announced that through a partnership with Instacart, curbside and delivery services are now accessible through its rewards app.

Previously, customers who wanted to use the services were directed outside of the app in order to place their delivery or curbside pickup orders.
Current Instacart Express members are able to receive discounts on services and delivery fees by linking their Instacart account in the Schnucks Rewards app through the account settings menu, the company said.
Despite the change, customers can still order for the same day or a future scheduled date with delivery and pickup items available usually within two hours or less. Shoppers who opt for this option will receive text or email reminders throughout all of the steps of the fulfillment and delivery process.

“By adding additional e-commerce options in the Schnucks Rewards app, we are creating a more streamlined customer experience,” senior director of digital experience Chace MacMullan said. “We continue to develop and implement app features that allow customers to interact with Schnucks digitally in our stores and at home.”
In addition, the new app features offer numerous ways to search items by category, past purchases and personalized savings; obtain discounts that were previously available only in stores as digital coupons; and receive savings on wine for Schnucks Wine Club members.
Schnucks Rewards' customers also will earn rewards points on every purchase made through the curbside and delivery orders just as they would when shopping in the stores, the company said.
