Five community pharmacies have been named recipients of the NCPA Innovation Center Excellence Awards for 2021, sponsored by QS/1, the National Community Pharmacists Association announced today. This is the fourth year of the NICE Awards competition, which was created to recognize pharmacies for their efforts to enhance their value, promote their services, and better serve their communities.

“Independent pharmacies have always been ahead of the curve when it comes to business model innovations, care and other services that make patients’ experience more rewarding, but this has never been more on display than during the coronavirus pandemic,” said Kurt Proctor, president of the NCPA Innovation Center. “The aim of the NICE Awards is to spotlight the best in community pharmacy branding and marketing – and what it accomplishes for a pharmacy business. This year, for our best internal and external remodel awards, we interjected a focus on changes made to meet customer needs related to the pandemic. We think it’s nice if others could see and learn and achieve success as a result of this year’s winning community pharmacies.”

“The only thing that outshines independent pharmacists’ entrepreneurial spirit is their deep care for patients and the communities they serve,” said Sheila Warfield, vice president of marketing at RedSail Technologies, the parent company of QS/1. “Congratulations to this year’s NICE Awards winners!”
