Shoppers Drug Mart opens MediSystem location in Edmonton

Shoppers Drug Mart’s MediSystem has opened the doors at its newest location in Edmonton.

Operated by the retailer and MediSystem, the specialty pharmacy provides pharmaceutical dispensing and clinical pharmacy consulting services to the senior housing community, as well as group home facilities.

The Edmonton MediSystem staff includes a dedicated pharmacy team, operational and consultant pharmacists, access to medication 24 hours a day and seven days a week, and ongoing training education tailored to optimize resident health outcomes and improve quality of life, the company said.

Located at 12215-156 St. NW in Edmonton, the site also features innovative technologies, continuing education, enhanced clinical services and medication delivery.
