Somerset Pharma intros 4 generics

Somerset is expanding its generic ophthalmics portfolio.

Someset Pharma is introducing four sterile ophthalmic products as part of its growing ophthalmics portfolio.

The company is launching bepotastine besilate 1.5%, which is the generic of Bepreve, an antihistamine eye drop used to treat itching caused by allergic conjunctivitis.

The second new generic is proparacaine hydrochloride 0.5%, which is a generic of Alcaine, a topical local anesthetic for short duration corneal and conjunctival procedures.

Travoprost 0.004%, is the third new generic from Somerset Pharma. The medication is the generic of Travatan Z, which is a prostaglandin analog used to relieve ocular hypertension and treat glaucoma.

The fourth new generic from the company is moxifloxacin 0.5%, which is a generic of Vigamox.

Vigamox is an antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.
