RedDrop, a leading tween feminine care brand, has secured a $100k investment on the innovative investment podcast, The Pitch, with featured episode airing on April 17, 2024 on all platforms.

Founded by educator Dana Roberts and Dr. Monica Williams, RedDrop was launched with the purpose of preparing, empowering and educating girls about puberty and menstruation. Today, RedDrop provides tweens and teens a wide selection of period products specifically designed for their bodies including a variety of pads, period underwear, several all-inone period kits and multiple educational resources that help the girls and their caregivers feel prepared and confident.

“McKeever (Mac) Conwell’s investment is the first investment towards our $500k seed round, making Rarebreed Ventures our lead investor," said RedDrop co-founder and CEO Monica Williams. "This round of investment will go a long way towards helping RedDrop scale and meet our long-term growth goals.”

Launched in 2015 and hosted by Josh Muccio, The Pitch transports listeners behind the closed doors of business deals for an eye-opening glimpse into what it takes to build and pitch a business. Beating out 700 other applicants, RedDrop Co-founder and CEO Monica Williams attended The Pitch Event in Miami to pitch the brand to five investors. The brand secured a $50k investment from Mac Conwell, founder and managing partner at RareBreed Ventures and a $50k investment from The Pitch Fund. Episode 129 will showcase Monica’s entire pitch to the investors, highlighting the brand’s story and what happened next for the business.

“We chose to feature RedDrop on The Pitch, first and foremost, because it's a great business, and it's incredible what Monica and her team have built with very little outside capital,” shared Lisa Muccio, co-founder of The Pitch. “Secondly, RedDrop is serving an overlooked group, young girls, at a stage in their lives when they are already searching to discover who they are and where they fit in. We are excited to back a company like RedDrop that offers tween girls an easy answer at a time of so many questions! We love that they are providing schools with period kits, and did you know they have an educational package for dads?! RedDrop has thought of everything to make starting your period trauma-free!”

RedDrop’s winning pitch will be featured on The Pitch Season 11, Episode 129 airing on April 17, 2024 at 9am EST.  RedDrop products are available at tryreddrop.com and Amazon.com.
