Uncle Ben’s, Seeds of Change debut bean offerings
There’s an even wider variety of products to choose from when it comes to Mars Foods’ Uncle Ben’s and Seeds of Change lines.
Created to help consumers enjoy the convenience of beans with one-step preparation, the products come in a variety of flavors.
Products found in Uncle Ben’s beans variety include:
- New Orleans Style, which contains red beans with peppers that have been slow-simmered in a blend of creole spices;
- Southern Chili, which is a two-bean chili, that contains peppers in a tomato base;
- Sweet & Smoky, which featured baked beans that have been simmered in brown sugar with real bacon and onion; and
- Zesty Mexican Style, which has black beans, corn, peppers, and hints of garlic, green chilies and cilantro.
On the Seeds of Change side, new additions include:
- Indian Spiced Style Lentils & Chickpeas, which contain garlic, cumin, a blend of traditional Indian spices, and tomato curry;
- Vegetarian Baked Beans, which feature a sweet and savory blend that has been cooked in tomato sauce;
- Savory Mexican Style Black Beans, which have black beans, corn and Tex-Mex spices; and
- Hearty 3 Bean Chili, which has a sweet and savory taste.
The Uncle Ben’s beans pouches retail for $2.69 each and the Seeds of Change Organic Beans retail for $3.49 at retailers nationwide include Walmart and Kroger.
