Upsher-Smith debuts generic Rythmol

Upsher-Smith is offering propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules in 225 mg, 325 mg and 425 mg dosage strengths.

Upsher-Smith's product is the generic of GSK’s Rythmol SR (propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules).

Propafenone hydrochloride extended-release capsules had a market value of approximately $51 million for the 12 months ended May 2020, according to IQVIA.

All three dosage strengths are available in a 60-count bottle.
