    Wet Brush, LolaVie partner on Pro Flex Dry brush

    Wet Brush is continuing its mission to help consumers detangle their wet or dry hair with ease.

    New in the brand’s Pro Flex Dry collection is an exclusive LolaVie black and white design.

    Featuring heat-resistant IntelliFlex bristles with an open-vented design, the brush allows hair to dry faster, and it also comes with a rubberized EasyGrip handle for comfortable hold and more control, the company said.

    Retailing for $15, the LolaVie Wet Brush Pro Flex Dry is available for purchase online.

    Ben & Jerry’s updates non-dairy recipes with oat-based formula

    Ben & Jerry’s is revamping its non-dairy sweets with a new oat-based formula.

    All existing non-diary flavors from the brand will switch to the new and improved base by spring 2024, and the transition is kicking off with the chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate fudge brownie flavors.

    “With this new recipe, Ben & Jerry's fans can expect more: more flavor, more creamy texture and more dessert euphoria with the same signature chunks and swirls. The oat recipe is so good, it’s even loved by our most discerning dairy fans who are used to eating ice cream,” said Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Guru Colleen Rossell. 

    The oat base will allow for a smoother texture, and reduce nut allergens, making the line more inclusive for those with diet sensitivities, the company said.

    Consumers can find the new non-dairy pints shipping now and at participating scoop shops and grocery stores for a suggested retail price that ranges from $5.99 to $6.49.

    Ouidad is looking to help consumers strengthen their curls with a new fragrance-free launch.

    New from the brand are the Unbreakable Bonds Mixing Drops, which are infused with bond-building technology and ingredients that target curl health for hydrated and stronger hair over time, the company said.

    Gentle enough for daily use, ingredients include a Bond Building Complex to repair and strengthen curls; hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture and keep curls hydrated; vegan collagen to support the appearance of healthier curls; and rice protein for stronger strands.

    Made without the use of sulfates, silicones, parabens, phthalates and mineral oil, Ouidad’s Unbreakable Bonds Mixing Drops retail for $30 and can be found online at Amazon and both in-store and virtually at Ulta Beauty.

    Newman’s Own revamps pasta sauce recipe

    As part of its brand refresh, Newman’s Own announced that also has updated its pasta sauce recipe.

    The new recipes include a blend of such ingredients as carrots for added sweetness, additional garlic, onion, and Italian-style herbs and spices for added flavor, the company said.

    “Newman’s Own remains committed to Paul Newmans vision of ‘giving it all away,’ while making sure that our products not only do good, but taste great,” said Nicole Malcolm-Manyara, chief marketing officer of Newman’s Own. “We are excited to unveil improved pasta sauce recipes as part of our ongoing brand refresh and expect that the bold flavors will satisfy both new and loyal consumers looking for a delicious, quick, easy, and high-quality sauce for their next meal.”

    Flavors in the pasta sauce line include Marinara, Tomato and Basil, Sockarooni, Roasted Garlic and Fire Roasted Tomato, as well as Organic Marinara, Organic Tomato and Basil and Organic Olive Oil, Basil and Garlic. 

    Newman’s Own Pasta Sauces are available in retailers nationwide for $3.49 per 24 oz. jar and $4.59 per organic 23.5 oz. jar.
