The retailer is rolling out a subscription delivery service called FreshPass, a free deals and delivery app and the new Albertsons for U shopper loyalty program.
As it marks the milestone, Albertsons is adding digital vaccine records and rapid antigen self-tests while also including tools for scheduling appointments and transportation to a vaccination appointment.
Jennifer Saenz, the former global chief marketing officer and president of Global Foods at PepsiCo, will be responsible for all areas of merchandising for Albertsons.
Albertsons is collaborating with the Fetch Rewards consumer loyalty and shopper rewards app to send its users personalized offers to generate market activations and customer acquisition.
