Ayesha Curry enters skin care space with Sweet July Skin
Another celebrity-founded skin care brand is looking to disrupt the space.
Ayesha Curry, founder and CEO of the lifestyle brand Sweet July, has launched Sweet July Skin.
A celebration of Curry’s Jamaican roots, the brand contains clean, simple and effective products that aim to treat skin to an island vacation, the brand noted.

Utilizing Curry’s culinary expertise, Sweet July Skin products contain formulated recipes that embrace the power of such Caribbean ingredients as guava, papaya and soursoup.
“Throughout my life, I’ve learned a lot about skincare and the natural benefits derived from superfoods like papaya and guava from my mother and grandmother,” said Ayesha Curry. “In pairing those ingredients with proven actives, we've developed a skincare experience that is great for your skin but also truly enjoyable. I’m excited to share a little bit of my Jamaican culture with everyone through these products.”
Products part of the line’s initial launch include:
- Pava Exfoliating Cleanser: An exfoliating cleanser that combines papaya, guava and lychee seed powder with glycolic and lactic acids to help remove makeup and leave skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturized;
- Pava Toner: A resurfacing toner that contains glycolic acid and natural fruit extracts to offer a skin reset for healthier, happier and clearer skin; and
- Irie Power Face Oil: Enriched with a trio of neem seed oil, tea tree oil and rosemary oil, it looks to target blemishes, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.
