Britney Spears, Revlon embolden shoppers with Prerogative fragrance

It’s her prerogative.

Britney Spears and Revlon have joined forces to launch the global popstar’s newest fragrance, Britney Spears Prerogative.

Inspired by a statement of authenticity and individuality, the fragrance is designed to embolden those who wear it to be whoever they want to be, the company said.

“Prerogative is all about empowerment and confidence—we all deserve to feel free and fierce,” Britney Spears said.

Notes of woody amber, gourmand, latex pearls and red calla lily, are featured within the scent. The bottle is a hybrid shape that’s composed of sharp edges and soft, rounded corners that reflect contrasting sensibilities, the company said.

“The Britney Spears fragrance portfolio evolves with each new scent. With this campaign, we showcase the confidence, versatility and individuality that Britney has demonstrated throughout her career,” Ron Rolleston, executive vice president of global fragrance marketing at Revlon, said. “From design to scent to campaign concept, Prerogative is all about pushing boundaries.”

The “Piece of Me” songstress has been creating fragrances for over ten years, and currently has 23 fragrances available in over 85 countries around the world.

Britney Spears’ Prerogative is now available in Walmart stores and its website and will hit Kohl’s shelves in August.
