Essie introduces gel couture gala collection

NEW YORK — Essie is expanding its gel couture collection to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its launch. The essie gel couture gala collection adds 12 hues to the two-step system, as well as the new gel couture platinum grade finish top coat to prevent chipping and make the looks last up to 14 days, the company said.



The new collection includes one sheer hue, as well as three pearl, six crème, two shimmer hues. The new additions are:

  wearing hue? — a creamy white with a champagne shimmer;

  pr stunt — a creamy lavender pink with gold shimmer;


• 
  inside scoop — a sheer tea rose pink with a slight blue undertone;


• 
  last night's look — a salmon pink crème;


• 
  sizzling hot — an opaque saturated hibiscus red crème with a pink undertone;


• 
  style stunner — a bright orange crème with an underlying red;


• 
  living legend — a rich risk-taking crimson crème;


• 
  v.i.please — a deep, berry violet crème hinted with red;


• 
  beau-tie — a rich, black amethyst  crème;


• 
  front page worthy — dark royal blue with a pearl overcast;


• 
  star studded — a pearlescent golden honey; and


• 
  fashion faceoff — a light, smoky gray with a soft pearl.

The new collection and top coat are available now with a suggested retail price of $11.50 per bottle.
