IRI names EVP of global operations

CHICAGO — IRI has hired Michael Rosenthal as EVP of global operations. Rosenthal is a member of the executive leadership team and reports to Andrew Appel, president and CEO of IRI.

 

Rosenthal is charged with supporting and accelerating IRI’s operating excellence efforts, as well as bringing to market the company’s next-generation data-integration solutions. He will lead IRI’s efforts to deliver a competitive advantage in the consumer packaged goods market with technology that delivers forward-looking insights, prescriptive analytics, and an open, democratized, real-time set of platforms.  

 

Prior to joining IRI, Rosenthal held multiple leadership positions as a SVP at Accretive Health. Before Accretive Health, Rosenthal was a partner at McKinsey & Co., where he served as a leader in the operations and technology practice. Rosenthal served as a senior counselor to Fortune 100 COOs, CIOs, business unit leaders and other executives on operations, technology, organization and strategy issues.

Rosenthal earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering and a second bachelor’s degree in economics from The University of Pennsylvania. He has a master’s degree in business administration from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
