NEW YORK — John Frieda Hair Care has announced that it is bringing back its iconic Beach Blonde line with a new and improved collection that will be available in January.
According to the brand, consumers have been petitioning online for nearly a decade to bring back the original, cult classic beach waves spray.
The collection that will hit stores in January features four products to prep and style hair to flawlessly beachy results: Beach Blonde Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo, Beach Blonde Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner, Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray and Beach Blonde Sun Streaks Lightening Spray. Each product is formulated to help you look like you spent a day at the beach — minus the sand.
John Frieda Hair Care’s recent social media poll asked fans to “Vote Now to Bring Back Your Favorite Throwback.” The original Beach Blonde Ocean Waves Texurizing Styler won by a landslide as the discontinued product fans clamored for.
“When we first introduced the Beach Blonde Sea Spray in the early 2000s, we started the laid-back beach waves trend that has since become a coveted style mainstay. After launching the beach-chic look so many years ago, it’s only fitting that now we’re bringing this beloved product lineup back to give our loyal consumers the formulas they love that perfectly meet their styling needs,” said Karen Frank, VP marketing for John Frieda Hair Care.
