Le Mini Macaron brings at-home gel manicures to Ulta Beauty

New York — Affordable at-home gel manicures from Le Mini Macaron are now available for purchase in over 1,000 Ulta Beauty stores nationwide. This partnership marks the brand’s first entry into the U.S. marketplace. It has already launched overseas with availability in Sephora Middle East, Sephora China, Sephora Spain and luxury department stores in Canada, Switzerland, Italy, Hong Kong and France.

Originally getting its start from a Kickstarter campaign in 2015, the company was founded by Christina Kao and Francis-Xavier Humbert to create salon-quality gel manicures at home.

“We believe that gel can be for everyone which is why we wanted to make an at-home kit that is user-friendly, affordable and attractive,” said Cristina Kao, Managing Partner of Camelia Beauty, the brand’s parent company.

"Le Mini Macaron is about making gel manicures (traditionally considered a splurge) something that is convenient, affordable, and accessible for everyone. ULTA is the perfect retailer for us because they embody the same spirit – to be inclusive and accessible for all! This launch marks an important step for our company,” added Kao.

A wide range of gel manicure kits are available in stores and online for purchase, coming in various colors. Le Mini Macaron will also be debuting New Hand & Finger Masks in the grab-and-go section at Ulta’s checkout stands.
