Model Lily Aldridge launches Haven scent

9/5/2019
Lily Aldridge may be known best for walking down the catwalk, but the model is diving into brand new territory — perfume.

Part of her new Lily Aldrige Parfums line, the newly unveiled Haven scent looks to spin a floral story that’s set in the gardens of her home in Nashville.

Containing such notes as florals, opulent, rose absolute and peony, Haven also features musk envelopes to create something reminiscent of freshness and vitality, the company said.

Created with perfumer Yves Cassar, top notes of the perfume include lychee and mandarin. The heart contains rose absolute, peony and freesia, while the base has musk, amber and cedarwood notes.

In addition to bringing the great scent to noses, Aldridge wanted to showcase her commitment to sustainability via the packaging.

Featuring a woodcap from sustainable forests, it allows for a positive carbon footprint. Just as well, for every tree used for the caps, five are planted in its place, the company said.

The caps have a Program of Endorsement of Forest Certification and are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

When it comes to the seeded paper drop card, it’s made from post-industrial recycled paper, is fully biodegradable, dried with natural vegetable-based pigments, printed with water-based ink and is B-Certified.

Shoppers can purchase Haven via the Lily Aldridge Parfums website, where it retails for $50.
