LAS VEGAS — NutraStim launched its FDA-approved hair restoration device, NutraStim Pro Laser Hair Comb, at this July’s Cosmoprof North America trade show.
The product, which is designed for both men and women, increases hair density and thickens hair, using 12 low-level lasers that increase blood circulation and redirect nutrients to stimulate dormant follicles. The device features a comb without teeth, eliminating the interference of plastic in the laser pathway.
“We recognize that hair loss is a common issue that many men and women face,” NutraStim founder Peter von Berg said. “Our goal is to help fill a need with a highly affordable product that delivers effective results and that consumers can use in the privacy of their own home.”
30 million women and 50 million men experience hereditary hair loss, according to the American Academy of Dermatology.
Requiring three sessions per week at eight minutes per session, NutraStim is available at half the cost of its leading competitors.
