Philips Sonicare is introducing the three new additions to its ProtectiveClean Electric toothbrush line.

Each of the new brushes features pressure sensors that alerts users to when they are applying too much pressure, the company said.

In addition, the Sonicare ProtectiveClean line is designed to address consumer concerns over their current toothbrush and if it could be damaging both their teeth and gums in the process. The complete line includes:

  • The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 with Optimal Plaque Control, which contains a brush head that is designed to help remove plaque that retails for $69.99;

  • The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 5100 with Optimal Gum Care, which features a brush head designed to help improve gum health that retails for $89.99; and

  • The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 with Diamond Clean, which has a brush head that is designed to help remove stains and can be purchased for the suggested retail price of $129.99.

“At Philips Sonicare, we believe there is always a way to make life better, and that includes offering new, innovative products in our portfolio,” Alexander Harris, senior marketing director of Philips Oral Healthcare, said. “We understand that consumers want to protect their teeth and gums, while also achieving an exceptional clean in between dental visits. With this new innovation, we are able to provide an effective, at-home solution that can also be easily used on the go.”

Each of the models is currently available for purchase in various colors on the company’s website, Amazon and major retailers across the nation.
