‘Stranger Things’ star Millie Bobby Brown debuts beauty line

Actress Millie Bobby Brown, best known for her role as Eleven in Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” wants to help redefine the beauty genre.

To do so, the starlet is debuting her florence by mills skincare and makeup line, which was founded on the belief that true beauty comes from loving and embracing yourself.

"I wanted to create something for me and my generation, my friends and peers," Millie Bobby Brown said. "A brand that could reflect us and our self-expression and still be good for you, simple to use and suited for changing, transitional skin. Being young in general is so tough, so creating a place to support everyone on their beauty journey was important to me."

Items consumers can expect to find in the line's debut include the Zero Chill Face Mist, Swimming Under the Eye Gel Pads, and four-color cosmetics in such shades as Like a Light Skin Tint and Cheek Me Later Cream Blush.

Products are to range from $10 to $34, are suitable for all skin types, dermatologist-tested, infused with vitamins and botanicals, and are free of parabens, sulfates and synthetic fragrances, the company said.

"I know what works and what doesn't for me—but I understand that everyone is different, both in their skin needs and personal definitions of beauty," Brown said. With florence, everyone can discover and build their own beauty philosophy with clean, accessible and easy-to-use beauty essentials."

In addition, the entire line is PETA cruelty-free and vegan certified and supports the Olivia Hope Foundation, which was created to honor and remember Brown’s friend who passed away after a battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Shoppers can begin to shop Millie Bobby Brown's florence by mills collection on the brand’s website. It will hit Ulta Beauty’s website on Sept. 8 and launch in all 1,200 of the retailer’s physical locations on Sept. 22.
