Tampax, social networking site launch monthly gift club
CINCINNATI To boost marketing for its Tampax brand, Procter & Gamble in partnership with Stardoll, an online social networking service for teens and tweens, has announced a monthly gift club that will promote women’s and girls hygiene products.
The launch will send out virtual white swimsuits, dresses and other clothing items to spread the message of trust and security in Tampax products—especially Tampax Pearl—each month when the Stardoll online community meets specific membership goals, such as reaching 10,000 or more members.
Prizes and games will also be awarded to Stardoll participants who create their own virtual summer scenes. Free samples of Tampax will also be available by providing the user’s contact information.
