Urban Skin Rx’s latest launches look to repair skin worries

7/30/2018
Urban Skin Rx wants its consumers to feel and look their best.

The brand, which is medspa tested and approved for diverse skin tones, has expanded its portfolio with three new additions to its products already sold at Target stores and online.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based company’s new launches expand upon the initial release of its cleansing bars, which hit the retailers’ shelves in March. Each of the products looks to solve such skin concerns as uneven skin tone, breakouts and wrinkles.

Urban Skin Rx’s new additions include:

  • The Dark Spot Rapid Repair Retinol Treatment, which helps speed up cellular turnover as skin tone is evened out. It also resolves acne marks, lessens the appearance of sun damage and controls melasma. Its featured ingredients include retinol/vitamin A, kojic acid, niacinamide, peppermint leaf extract and jojoba seed oil. The treatment comes in a 1-fl.-oz. size that retails for $22.99;

  • The Purifying 2-in-1 Pumpkin Pore Mask, which features a cleansing mask and exfoliating scrub, combines enzymes and vitamins to reduce pore size, cleanse, hydrate and rejuvenate skin. It also contains a detoxifying clay that rids pores of bacteria and such ingredients as kaolin, bromelain, salicylic acid, willow bark extract and licorice root. It comes in a 2.5-oz. size that retails for $16.99; and

  • The Eventone Support Supplements contains 60 capsules and retails for $22.99. It features a blend of l-glutathione and vitamin C that support the skin and body’s immune systems, and antioxidants to prevent uneven skin tone. It reverses oxidative stress from the environment.

“I am thrilled to have started our mass retail venture with Target,” Rachel Roff, licensed medical aesthetician and founder of Urban Skin Rx and Urban Skin Solutions Medspa and Weight Loss Center, said. These past few months have been amazing with them, and it’s a dream come true that in less than six months we are already expanding our offerings and door count at Target. It’s everyone's right to have beautiful, healthy looking skin.”

All of the new launches from Urban Skin Rx are vegan and free of parabens, toxins and sulfates. Each will be available at select Target stores and online in August.
