Singer and actress Becky G is looking to pay homage to the Latinx culture with her latest venture.

Through a partnership with beauty brand incubator Madeby Collective, the singer is launching Treslúce Beauty, a brand that honors the unique beauty of each and every person.

“Growing up, I never really saw people who looked like me represented, especially when it came to ads for beauty brands. My inspiration for Treslúce came from wanting to put more diverse faces at the forefront of beauty,” Becky G said. “Being Mexican-American, my Mexican heritage was also very much an inspiration. I wanted to highlight it in a very special way, along with all the other beautiful Latinx cultures within our community.”

Featured in the brand’s portfolio are products that have been developed with high-performing, conscious and vegan formulas, that also are cruelty-free and infused with Latinx-sourced ingredients and art, the company said.

A key ingredient in the products is blue agave, which is sourced from Jalisco, Mexico, and aims to help improve skin texture.

Launching with six products — I Am Shadow Palette, Like An Artista 8-piece brush set, Ilusión Premium Lashes, Intenso Liners, Mi Tesoro Lash case and Super Fácil 2-in-1 Lash Applicator — the line ranges from $8 to $35.
