Ben & Jerry’s rolls out new cookie dough chunk flavors

Anyone looking to indulge in new flavors of cookie dough chunks — Ben & Jerry’s has the solution they’ve been searching for.

The company has added chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough and half baked chunks to its offerings, which join the previously launched chocolate chip cookie dough, vegan chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough.

“We weren't entirely surprised when cookie dough chunks flew off the shelf,” Jody Eley, the innovation manager in charge of the launch said. “Cookie Dough is our No.1 fan favorite around the world, and we know our fans often dig around the ice cream to get to the chunks. We just made it a little easier by putting them in a bag."

In addition, the dough is made with pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour, the company said.

Consumers can find Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough chunks at supermarkets and participating Scoop Shops for the suggested retail price of $3.99 to $5.49.
