BJ’s Wholesale Club welcomes investor relations executive

BJ’s Wholesale Club has appointed a brand-new executive in its investor relations department.

Catherine Park has been named vice president, investor relations, effective Feb. 21.

Park will be responsible for providing strategic counsel to the executive leadership team, as well as managing the organization’s investor relations activities, the Westborough, Mass.-based retailer said.

“We remain committed to stakeholder engagement and enhancing our investor relations initiatives,” Laura Felice, executive vice president, chief financial officer said. “Catherine’s broad financial and investor management experience will help elevate our buy and sell-side relationships, while providing our executive leadership team with trusted counsel on a range of activities, including quarterly earnings.”

Most recently, Park served as executive director of investor relations at MGM Resorts International where she oversaw investor relations efforts and led the quarterly earning process.

She also served as vice president of corporate banking at JP Morgan Chase.
