Boston Beer, PepsiCo to launch Hard Mtn Dew alcoholic beverages

Boston Beer and PepsiCo are adding an adult twist to the popular Mtn Dew beverage line.

The two companies have joined forces to launch an alcoholic version of the drink — Hard Mtn Dew.

“We know that adult drinkers’ tastes are evolving, and they are looking for new and exciting flavorful beverages. The combination of our experience in brewing and developing the best-tasting hard seltzers and hard teas, and Mtn Dew, a one of kind multi-billion dollar brand, will deliver the excitement and refreshment that drinkers know and love,” Dave Burwick, Boston Beer’s CEO said. 

Containing an alcohol by volume of 5%, the malt beverages are expected to hit shelves in early 2022.
