Under a multiyear deal announced by Keurig and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group (DPSG) earlier this year, the beverage company will provide a variety of single-serve, pod-based drinks using fountain syrup for the at-home system that is scheduled to debut in a few months.
“Our team is committed to building and enhancing our leading brands, and this agreement presents an opportunity to reach consumers in new occasions,” DPSG EVP of marketing Jim Trebilcock said when the agreement was announced in January. “We’re looking forward to working with Keurig to bring our brands to this innovative new platform.”
Besides the selection of DPSG brands, the new Keurig machine will give consumers a convenient way to make other cold beverages such as enhanced waters, juices, sports drinks and teas from pods provided by a host of other suppliers, including Coca-Cola.
