Land O'Lakes introduces cinnamon sugar butter spread

NEW YORK — Land O'Lakes has expanded its line of butter products with a cinnamon sugar butter spread.

The company said that the product, which comes in a 6.5-oz. tub, contains seven all-natural ingredients — cream, sugar, canola oil, water, cinnamon, salt and citric acid. Land O'Lakes said that its cinnamon sugar butter spread is versatile and can be used on a variety of foods and for cooking.

“Innovation is driven by consumer insights. We try to uncover consumers’ needs and develop products to meet them,” Land O'Lakes marketing manager for retail innovation Angela Pengelly said. “It’s convenient because like our other spreadable butters, you can spread [cinnamon sugar butter spread] straight from the fridge. Moms use it to help get their kids to eat healthier foods,” she added.
