Cetaphil is continuing to put a spotlight on sensitive skin with a new initiative.
The skin care brand announced the launch of Sensitive Skin Awareness Week, which aims to educate on how to best care for sensitive skin and create a routine that is unique to each individual’s needs.
Running through March 28, the initiative also is a part of the brand’s “Complete Care for Your Sensitive Skin,” campaign, which features dermatologists, influencers and experts sharing their advice and science-driven recommendations, the company said.
“Sensitive Skin Awareness Week is designed for today’s digitally savvy and connected skincare consumer to have a more interactive dialogue on social platforms to help them meet their unique skin needs. Cetaphil has long tapped into social media to engage with our consumers and Sensitive Skin Awareness Week brings more science to this dialogue,” says June Risser, Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Business at Galderma. “This initiative will provide our consumers with first-hand access to science-based sensitive skincare knowledge from some of the best dermatologists in the country, alongside product recommendations from their influential peers who have been able to test all the market has to offer and prefer Cetaphil as their brand of choice.”
Via its own research, Cetaphil found that 70% of Americans have self-diagnosed themselves as having sensitive skin, and yet there is still confusion on how each person should best mitigate their skin concerns, the company said.
Through a rollout of digital programming across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, Cetaphil will bring Sensitive Skin Awareness Week and its “Complete Care for Your Sensitive Skin” campaign to life.
