Dermablend’s newest concealer aims to provide extra coverage

Dermablend Professional is debuting a new concealer that looks to provide consumers with instant coverage.

The brand’s new Cover Care Full Coverage Concealer provides 24-hour wear and skin care actions that can be applied to the skin sans primer. It is noncomedogenic and hydrates skin that may feel dry or is prone to break out, the company said.

Ideal for covering under eye dark circles, discoloration, correcting spots, contouring and highlighting, the product covers the desired area in just one coat and does not need to be reapplied for coverage.

Featuring a dermatologist-tested formula for safety, the concealer also contains a minimum of 30% mineral pigment in each shade, which has been specially coated to stay true to color and protect from oxidization, the company said.

“Cover Care Concealer serves as a multipurpose product that can take consumers from couch to video conference call in one coat, with a soft matte finish that leaves the skin soft and supple,” Helen Keegan, Dermablend's head of education, said. “This glycerin-packed skin-caring concealer is especially relevant with an increased demand for under eye coverage or instant breakout solutions during this time. This concealer has the benefit of covering and caring, while also giving consumers that quick full coverage pick-me-up.”

Dermablend’s Cover Care Full Coverage Concealer, which features a large wand applicator, is available in 16 shades and is free of parabens, fragrances and alcohol. It also is PETA certified cruelty-free and does not contain animal-derived ingredients.

Retailing for $28, the concealer is available for purchase on Dermablend.com and at select retailer websites, such as Ulta Beauty.
