Eatwell Market by Schnucks to debut in Chesterfield, Mo.

Schnuck Markets is set to open Eatwell Market by Schnucks in Chesterfield, Mo. This location will serve as the company’s 115th location and the second store to operate under the Eatwell Market banner, joining the Columbia, Mo. location, which opened in 2020.

Eatwell Market will celebrate the connection of food, wellness and community by offering foods with exceptional taste and uncompromising ingredients, while providing opportunities for customers to discover new items each time they shop. Along with local offerings, the store will emphasize natural and organic foods as well as community events that support customers no matter where they are along their wellness journey, the company said.

Located at 220 THF Blvd., the 30,000-square-foot store is expected to open in Spring 2023.

“We are excited to introduce Eatwell Market by Schnucks to customers in our hometown area,” said Schnucks executive vice president of supermarkets Ted Schnuck. “Our company’s mission is to nourish people’s lives, and we will build on that by bringing customers a store where they can discover new, local items while staying focused on health and wellness.”

Eatwell Market will carry thousands of natural and organic items throughout the store. The produce department will focus on both organically grown offerings as well as a large array of conventionally grown fruits and vegetables.

The store’s meat department will specialize in products raised without added antibiotics or growth hormones. Additional amenities will include bulk foods such as nuts, seeds, dried fruit and grains, as well as freshly ground nut butters and a made-to-order drink area specializing in single-serve offerings of smoothies, coffee, tea, beer and wine.

“At Eatwell Market we will strive to offer customers the best-tasting food made from the best ingredients,” Schnuck added. “We look forward to soon welcoming shoppers to this location where our goal will be to bring them a ‘beyond the expected’ shopping experience.”

The store will employ approximately 105 teammates. Employment positions will be announced later this month. At that time, prospective teammates may apply at the Schnucks Career page.

Upon opening, the store will offer both Schnucks Delivers and Curbside Pickup through the company’s partnership with Instacart.
