Ferrara adds Funfetti, Wintergreen twists to traditional candy canes
As the holiday season approaches, brands are rolling out their offerings that channel all the feels of the most wonderful time of the year.
Ferrara is no exception, as the Chicago-based company is unveiling two new twists to the traditional red and white striped candy cane.

New from the brand are the Funfetti Candy Canes, which feature a birthday cake flavor, as well as rainbow sprinkles inside each cane and a colored dot design. The Wintergreen Candy Canes contain a wintergreen flavor, are striped and come in minty green shades.
“Candy canes are as synonymous with the holidays as sleigh bells and holly,” Katie Duffy, the vice president and general manager of seasonal, at Ferrara said. “We love delivering fun and delicious twists on the red-and-white peppermint staple year after year. That’s why I couldn’t be more excited for candy cane fans of all ages to get their hands on our new Funfetti and Wintergreen options this holiday season.”

In addition, the brand announced that it would also be bringing back several other holiday favorites including Red and White Candy Canes, Cherry Rainbow Candy Canes and SweeTarts Candy Canes.
Consumers can find Ferrara’s seasonal launches at grocery stores, drug stores and mass-market retailers nationwide.
