Hain Celestial expands partnership in Walmart's Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign
The Hain Celestial Group is expanding its partnership with Feeding America, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the country, to help provide meals to people facing food insecurity through the Walmart Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign.
Hain will donate 10 cents to Feeding America for every marked bag of Garden Veggie Snacks sold in select Walmart stores.
Additionally, Hain will donate the monetary equivalent of at least 1 meal to Feeding America, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $100,000 and up to a maximum possible donation of $250,000 through March 1-31.

"We are honored to expand our partnership with Feeding America and Walmart in this year's Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign," Hain North America president Chad Marquardt said. "At Hain, our mission is to build purpose-driven brands that make healthier living more attainable by empowering our people, engaging our partners, and living our values. By participating in this worthwhile initiative, we're able to help make a difference and contribute even more to the fight against hunger."
According to Feeding America, 47 million individuals nationwide are considered hungry, including 13.8 million children. This marks the highest food insecurity rate in a decade.
The following Garden Veggie products purchased at nearly all Walmart stores nationwide, and online at Walmart.com, will support the campaign:
- Garden Veggie Straws in Sea Salt 14 oz.
- Garden Veggie Straws in Zesty Ranch 14 oz.
- Garden Veggie Flavor Burst Tortilla Chips in Nacho Cheese 12 oz.
- Garden Veggie Flavor Burst Tortilla Chips in Zesty Ranch 12 oz.
- Garden Veggie Flavor Burst Tortilla Chips in Smoky BBQ 12 oz., which is still exclusive to Walmart, following its December 2024 launch.
Now in its 12th year, the Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign has generated more than $206 million and helped secure 2 billion meals for the Feeding America network of local food banks.

Purchases and donations made in-store or online are tied to zip codes serving that store's location and go to the local Feeding America partner food bank in that community.
"We are grateful for the continued support of the suppliers who join us in the movement to end hunger," said Lauren Biedron, senior vice president of corporate partnerships at Feeding America.
Hain began its participation in the Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign last year with four Garden Veggie Snacks items across 1,200 Walmart stores. This year, Hain built upon its inaugural involvement, significantly increasing its commitment in 2025 with five products available in nearly all Walmart stores nationwide.
