Hims & Hers volumizes tresses with shampoos, conditioners
Hims & Hers is delving beyond its health and wellness category by launching several new products that fall into the beauty world.
The San Francisco-based company debuted a line of volumizing shampoos and conditioners that are formulated with Biovolume 128, which has been shown to increase hair volume, according to the brand.

“Providing products and treatments specific to people’s individual needs is the guiding light as to how we are moving our company forward,” said Lindsey Roberts, senior director of innovation at Hims & Hers. “We want everyone to feel like they have options when it comes to their health and wellness care, and this in particular, is a testament to providing people with more choices when it comes to improving their hair, and ultimately, their confidence. We’re so proud of these new formulas and look forward to hearing from customers who experience a boost in hair volume as a result.”
Designed to be purchased as a kit or separately, Hims & Hers’ new launches include:
- Hims Max Volume Shampoo: A citrus spice-scented shampoo that contains biotin and rice protein to help strengthen and separate strands, as well as pump up the overall volume;
- Hims Max Volume Conditioner: Containing a citrus spice scent, the product softens hair and infuses it with moisture without weighing tresses down;
- Hers Full Volume Shampoo: Featuring a lightweight, coastal cedar citron scent, it works to lift up roots and separate strands to aid in providing more overall volume; and
- Hers Full Volume Conditioner: Also containing a coastal cedar citron scent, the product looks to fight frizz and infuse tresses with weightless moisture.

The company said the shampoos and conditioners have been developed with a vegan, paraben-, phthalates-, sulfate-, dye- and cruelty-free formula designed for those with fine, flat or limp hair.
Hims & Hers’ shampoos and conditioners are available online and at retailers nationwide, including Walgreens.
