Kashi Go packs protein into waffles

Kashi is launching a new collection of protein-packed waffles under its Go line of products.

Available in wild blueberry, cinnamon brown sugar and vanilla buttermilk, each waffle contains 100% whole grains per serving, and feature protein derived from a mix of hemp seeds, cage-free eggs, soy and whey protein.

“Our Kashi Go line is all about offering products that fuel an active lifestyle and we saw a need to create a waffle with protein to jumpstart the day,” Jeanne Wilson, the director of marketing for Kashi said. “The existing Kashi waffles are a fan favorite and we wanted to supplement those with a new line that delivers nourishment, unparalleled taste, and convenience!”

The Non-GMO Project Verified waffles come in a box that contains eight waffles that are to be heated in a toaster or microwave.

Consumers interested in picking up a box of Kashi Go protein waffles can do so at such retailers as Walmart, Amazon.com, Ahold, Food Lion, Giant Eagle, Hannaford, HEB, Market Basket, Shoprite and Woodmans.
