Kate Somerville tackles signs of aging via KateCeuticals collection

Kate Somerville is looking to help beauty enthusiasts tackle signs of aging.

To do just that, the Los Angeles-based company is rolling out a new collection of products that have been formulated with a blend of active ingredients that aim to deliver results.

KateCeuticals is a comprehensive age repair system that aims to deliver clinical-level results that tackle multiple signs of aging while also minimizing irritation, the company said.

“The signs of aging skin are complex, and they present on the skin in multiple ways and continue to evolve over time,” founder Kate Somerville said. “KateCeuticals brings my comprehensive clinical approach home by combining active ingredients that deliver maximum results, with formulations that require no downtime, and protect and improve the natural skin barrier.”

Featuring such ingredients as retinol, glycolic acid, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and ceramides, the line’s products act as boosters that target such specific signs of aging as wrinkles, dryness, dullness and sagging skin.

Current products available within the line include:

• Total Repair Cream, which is an age repair cream that has been formulated with a peptide and ceramide repair complex, as well as advance moisture complex and antioxidants to fight signs of aging;
• Lifting Eye Cream, which is a highly concentrated cream that aims to lift and firm the delicate skin under the eye. Ingredients include ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and a triple peptide complex to improve skin’s firmness and combat signs of aging around the eye; and
• Firming Serum, which contains a tri-peptide hyaluronic acid complex, as well as skin-restoring ceramides to firm and smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles.
