Kit Kat adds sprinkles to limited-edition birthday cake launch

Kit Kat is bringing the flavors of a classic birthday cake to its well-known bar form.

The Hershey, Pa.-based company announced the launch of its new limited-edition birthday cake bars, which include sprinkles, and are flavored with white crème.

“Kit Kat as a brand is internationally recognized for its inventive flavors,” Susanne Prucha, the marketing director at Kit Kat said. “Our U.S. Kit Kat lovers have continued to voice a longing for new and imaginative flavors and that's exactly what we're giving them in 2020. We've kicked off the year with not one, but three new flavor innovations and can't wait to announce what else we have in store!”

Available nationwide beginning in April, Kit Kat’s birthday cake bar will come in a 1.5-oz. size that retails for $1.09.
