Lay’s joins forces with ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars on sandwich-inspired chip

The limited-edition grilled cheese and tomato soup chips come in packaging inspired by Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s soon-to-be-opened sandwich shop, Something About Her.

BravoCon 2023 is around the corner and to kick off one of the biggest events in reality television, Lay’s is partnering with “Vanderpump Rules” stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney on a sandwich-inspired chip flavor debuting at the three-day event. 

The Lay’s grilled cheese and tomato soup chip features potato chips that combine the classic flavors of a grilled cheese with the hearty flavors of tomato soup.

"We're excited to partner with these two icons to create a unique moment of connection with Lay's and bring back an iconic flavor for our fans," said Tina Mahal, senior vice president of marketing at Frito-Lay North America. "Lay's is an expert in flavor innovation we're looking forward to sharing our delicious potato chips and delicious culinary creations inspired by Ariana and Katie's new restaurant at BravoCon."

The limited-edition chips come in packaging inspired by Madix and Maloney’s soon-to-be-opened sandwich shop, Something About Her.

At BravoCon, Lay’s will be hosting a pop-up experience with Something About Her that will highlight the snack, as well as showcase small bites and cocktails that use Lay’s as the main ingredient. 

"I always dreamed of opening a sandwich shop, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be coming out with a sandwich-inspired potato chip flavor," said Katie Maloney. "Reintroducing Lay’s grilled cheese and tomato soup flavored potato chips at BravoCon is the perfect way to bring our sandwich expertise straight to fans."
