MAC Cosmetics’ Starring You collection is holiday ready
MAC Cosmetics is jumping in on the holiday season — right before it’s officially begun.
The beauty brand unveiled its new Starring You collection, which shimmers all the way from the packaging to its lineup of products and kits.
"Upon working with the Starring You collection, the first word that came to my mind was 'opulent,'" Fatima Thomas, MAC senior artist said. "The finishes are reflective, varying from moderate frost to high-beam metallic, and apply smoothly. The colour palette is sophisticated and urbane. After the predominantly fiery coppers and rusts of SS19, it's refreshing to create looks with rich plums, pinots, irons and garnets laced with sparkle."
Featuring a new glitter-coated Kiss of Stars lipstick, the lineup also contains a creamy shimmer in six shades, Spellbinder Shadow with magnetically charged ionized pigments that cling to eyelids, six high-shine Lipglass hues, two Opalescent Powders, a Powerpoint Eye Pencil, a lash set and Star Studs lip adornments.
In addition, MAC Cosmetics also will have 33 holiday gift sets that are priced into four tiers — Star Of Skincare Kit, Star-Dipped Face Compact, Starlit Lip Bag, Taste Of Stardom Mini Lipstick Kit, an Advent Calendar, Collector Of The Stars Kit, collectible pouches, special packaging and limited-edition shades.
