    SEATTLE — Bodystrap announced the launch of a patented, compact strap that will allow consumers to apply sun care, lotion and body wash products to their backs.

    Bodystrap has an 80-in. surface area, which allows for a single, quick application and is also hydrophobic. The product retails for $9.99 for a box of 10 straps. The straps can be rinsed and reused numerous times before being thrown away. Bodystrap will launch at Walgreens.com and DrugStore.com, according to the company.

  • Greenstone introduces nadolol tabs

    PEAPACK, N.J. — Greenstone on Tuesday announced the introduction of nadolol tablets to its generic pharmaceutical product line. The drug is available in dosage strengths of 20-mg x 100, 40-mg x 100 and 80-mg x 100.

    Greenstone's nadolol is the authorized generic equivalent to Corgard. It's used for the long-term management of patients with angina pectoris and for the treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure, according to the company.

    CINCINNATI — Sunny Delight Beverages Co. announced that it would be testing a carbonated juice drink aimed at consumers looking for an alternative to energy drinks. The product, SunnyD X, is currently available in independent convenience stores and select grocery stores in Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
