  • Sanrio, NCLA create exclusive Hello Kitty nail wrap collection

    LOS ANGELES — Sanrio, a global lifestyle brand best known for pop icon Hello Kitty, and nail fashion brand NCLA have partnered to release an exclusive collection of custom Hello Kitty nail wraps.

    Launching September, the collection will fuse the iconic style of Hello Kitty with NCLA’s creative flare for nail art. This collaboration is one of many partnerships this year designed to celebrate Hello Kitty’s 40th anniversary.

  • Bazooka partners with DreamWorks for new merchandise

    NEW YORK — Bazooka Candy Brands will collaborate with DreamWorks Animation on a limited-edition candy line, as well as a multiplatform merchandising program, to support the film "How to Train Your Dragon 2." The film opens in theaters June 13.

    The campaign will bring consumers a limited-edition Dragon Berry flavor and themed wrapping for Bazooka Candy Brands' top-selling candies, which include Jumbo Push Pop, Juicy Drop Pop, Baby Bottle Pop and Ring Pop.

  • Quaker Oats invites consumers to crunch on new breakfast item

    CHICAGO — Quaker Oats, a brand from PepsiCo, announced the introduction of Warm & Crunchy Granola, a hot cereal that delivers Quaker Oatmeal and the crunch of multigrain granola. The product maintains its crunch even after being heated with milk, the company said.

  • Carex Health Brands launches AccuRelief TENS devices

    NORWELL, Mass. — Carex Health Brands on Thursday introduced AccuRelief Pain Relief Systems, a line of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) therapy FDA–approved for full-body, over–the–counter use.

    A pain-abatement technology, TENS devices work to block the nerve pathway from transmitting pain signals from the pain site to the brain while simultaneously increasing endorphin production.

    SPARTA, Mich. — Old Orchard Brands announced the launch of two new naturally sweetened lemonades that evoke the quality of a lemonade stand, according to the company. Strawberry Lemonade and Country Style Lemonade are available in the ready-to-drink juice aisle in grocery stores across the country in both 32-oz. and 64-oz. containers, priced at $1.29 and $2.29 respectively.

  • FDA approves Valeant's Jublia

    LAVAL, Quebec — Valeant Pharmaceuticals International announced that its subsidiary, Valeant Pharmaceuticals North America, received approval from the Food and Drug Administration for its new drug application for Jublia (efinaconazole 10% topical solution). The drug is the first topical triazole approved for the treatment of onychomycosis of the toenails, the company said.
