Orgain debuts collagen, plant protein powders

Orgain is rolling out not one, but two protein powder products. 

New to the Irvine, Calif.-based company’s offerings are the Collagen Zero Protein Powder and Simple Organic Plant Protein Powder.

The Collagen Zero Protein Powder contains no sugar and looks to improve both hair and skin, as well as support joints and tendons. Containing 20 g of type I and III collagen peptides sourced from pasture-raised cows, it is available in chocolate and vanilla flavors.

Simple Organic Plant Protein Powder is made from such ingredients as organic almonds, peanuts, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and golden peas. It also has coconut sugar for a touch of added sweetness, delivers 20 g of protein per serving, and is available in peanut butter, chocolate and vanilla flavors.

Currently, Orgain Simple Organic Plant Protein Powder is available for purchase at Sprouts. Costco will carry the protein powder exclusively in a chocolate peanut butter cup flavor, and both are available for purchase at Orgain.com.
