E.T. Browne Drug, the company best-known for its Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula products, is launching a brand-new line that uses hemp oil.

New from the Englewood Cliffs, N.J.-based company is the Hemp Oil collection, which contains natural hemp seed oil, cocoa butter and vitamin E to help soothe, calm and hydrate all skin types.

Dermatologist-tested and hypoallergenic, the line’s formulas are safe for those with sensitive and eczema-prone skin, and are free from mineral oil, parabens, sulfates, dyes, phthalates and animal ingredients, the company said.

“As a 180-year-old company, we are driven by new ways to innovate and lead trends,” Paul Carpino, E.T. Browne’s director of marketing said. “During the research and development phase of this new collection, we saw high awareness of Hemp, with 85% of consumers surveyed indicating strong purchase intent for Palmer’s Hemp Oil body care products. We wanted to create a response to address that level of interest.”

Products part of the collection include:

  • Hemp Oil Calming Relief Body Lotion, which looks to help deliver a 91% reduction in irritation, itching and dryness, while also moisturizing and hydrating the skin; and
  • Hemp Oil Calming Relief Body Oil, which looks to seal in moisture for up to 48 hours, as well as improve dehydrated skin, uneven texture and boost radiance.

Shoppers can find the Hemp Oil collection online and Amazon, and at Target, Walgreens, Walmart and Harmon in the fall.
